We implemented a direct integration between Salesforce and Sage Intacct using platform APIs, focusing on automating the quote-to-cash lifecycle.

- Account & Contact Sync
Automatically sync Salesforce Accounts and Contacts with Sage Intacct Customers - Opportunity-to-Invoice Flow
When an opportunity is marked “Closed-Won” in Salesforce, a corresponding Sales Invoice is created in Intacct.- Products and line items were mapped using Salesforce’s standard Product2 object and matched with Intacct Items
- Real-time Status Updates
Invoice and payment status from Intacct was made visible inside Salesforce using custom APEX services and scheduled jobs - Two-way Data Integrity
Ensured data consistency by validating key fields (customer IDs, product codes, tax settings) between the systems during sync - Error Logging and Exception Handling
Included retry logic and system alerts for failed transactions or mismatched data
